We came out of the reselling side of this industry, not the finance side. We know what it is like to buy the units, ship the boxes, and then wait on a payout that keeps slipping while nobody answers the group chat. That is the problem Proper Buying Group was built to remove.
So we built the unglamorous parts first: intake and insured freight before we accepted a vendor, a payout ledger before we listed a deal, and CRA-ready accounting before anyone had to file. A buying group is only worth joining if the money and the paperwork are boring.
We are Canada-only on purpose. Every payout rail, tax rule, and receipt requirement on the platform is built for Canadian vendors — and we would rather do that properly than half-serve two countries. The United States is next, once it can meet the same standard.
